It is highly likely that pyrodactyls created the first camp fire. Pyrodactyls were truly fire addicts.
 It was more than a hobby.  They were the world's first arsonists.

It is also possible that their fire initiating skills were used for cooking fish.

Pyrodactyls could carry burning logs over large distances.
Inadvertently, they have set fires all over the planet.

Neanderthals figured out how to make fire by studying the skills of the pyrodactyls.

Their hands enabled them to rub branches together.  Even T-Rexes feared the pyrodactyls!...
